Could someone please tell me the best way to list all the other blogs that I read. I know there has to be a better way than what I have figured out on my own! I read/stalk so many wonderful blogs that I want to make sure all of them are listed.
I'm also trying to figure out how to post pictures so hang in there with me! I know I'm not the only person who skims the actual words of a blog and just looks at the pictures! I promise I'll post some pics soon. I know you want to see pictures of ME!!!!!!!
I've been entertaining the thought of using this blog to hold me accountable to shed my baby weight. Although in my defense at our Grief Recovery group meeting, Nick said that it is normal to either gain or lose 5-10% of your body weight during the grieving process. Guess which way I went? Rats! One of my thoughts is to actually put my weight out there for all to see...let's just say that I'm not quite sure about that one yet. Another thought is to do my food journaling on this blog. Maybe if I thought about the fact that people might read that I'd eaten 14 cookies I might only eat 13! Ha! Ha!
Does anyone out there have tips for losing weight that don't involve exercising or eating less? Wouldn't it be wonderful if something like that actually existed?
I've been thinking a lot about the holidays this year. I'll put up the usual tree and decorations. It doesn't seem right to me to not hang a stocking for Olivia. But then, what would be in it? Things like that are making the holidays a little bittersweet this year.

Shannon, to add things to your blog, go to your Dashboard (top righthand corner of your blog), then click on Layout, and then click on Add a Page Element. If you can't figure it out from there, I can get more detailed! Hope that helps!

I need someone to be accountable with for losing baby weight too! The last 2 weeks I have been meaning to start walking on our treadmill just 2 miles every day. I have only done it twice! I am sure I have MUCH more weight to lose than you do, but I am totally up for an accountability thing! We can have a little competition if you are up for it! I'll put mine on my blog if you do yours! I'm super competitive so it might just work. I was thinking about what you could put in Olivia's stocking and how about if you write her a letter each year and put it in her stocking. Bailey and Beckham could too. Just telling her what is going on and keeping her a part of the family. It might be good for you guys too!
I believe losing weight without exercise or eating less is called bulemia. I don't think I would recommend that route for several reasons. Anyway you are welcome to join me in my Seniors class on Mondays, but I know that a week from Saturday we are going to be doing aerobic shopping so that will count toward exercise in my book. Plus when you are out of town calories don't count because somehow in my mind they are not real. Don't even go to the point of wondering how my mind works because it is a scary place where no woman wants to go.

That's funny, just last night I was thinking that it might be a good way to get motivated to lose weight to put a before picture and then you'd have to post slimmer after pictures to save face. ha
I'm with you...I really need to lose weight! If only so that I can fit in my clothes! It's a struggle to get in the habit of eating better and exercising. I always feel better when I do though.
