D-Day and My Happy List

D-Day (decision day) is approaching on Friday. Please keep us in your prayers as we are quickly approaching a very life changing day.
I've been thinking about what a new post could include (especially since someone told me that my blog is bringing them down...shut up, John). I've decided that I am going to post all the things that are positive in my life right now. In addition, I have reshuffled my playlist to play "Stronger" (the edited instrumental part). I think it's my theme song for the year...What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger!!

My Happy List (in no particular order)

Greg and my Dad...It's impossible to look at this picture and not smile! :)

Misti is getting married this Saturday.

Bailey has her first soccer game of the Spring this Saturday. Go Ladybugs!

My friend Melissa is having a baby!!!! (see her link under Mel Hicks)

God is with me no matter where I live.

Olivia's headstone has been ordered. I love what we've decided upon.

Our church family continues to amaze me (more on that in future posts).

The ability to do something in Olivia's name at Camp Tahkodah is becoming a reality.

Bailey makes me laugh everyday.

True friendships can survive regardless of the miles put between them.

Some of Bailey's Buddies

Stephanie (aka Beyonce) and me (aka Queen Latifah) jamming to some Playstation Karaoke.

More Playstation Karaoke (from the guys)...Cyndi Lauper style...

My Midge

I have found some really amazing people through blogging.

I am eating pizza with my buddies tonight.

Jen's baby girl will be here next week!!!(see blog link under Jenn Floyd)

Bailey is a very encouraging child (see the note below that she typed for Greg)

Oh Shannon, I feel so happy that we made your Happy List!!! I love all the time we get to spend together and we can continue to grow closer no matter what distance is between us. It does make me sad that I might not be able to teach Bailey how to knit or cross stitch. Maybe we can do it through Webcam. Wouldn't that be a site?
Love you all,
Vera

We are praying for you guys like crazy! Hopefully you will get a break from everything soon...we all know you deserve one! Our newest little one is due the end of September, but since I will have another c-section, it will wind up being somewhere in the middle of September. Thanks for asking...loved the happy blog!!

Okay, your happy list, ROCKS! I love it! Bailey's letter is just so sweet...I totally think that she and Grace would be buds if we lived with in like a days drive of each other! And, I didn't even know that Misti was getting married!! How wonderful...she will be such a beautiful bride! Your list made me smile with all of the wonderful things going on!!

Hey Shannon-since you confessed to others about reading their blog, so I will to you! Just want you to know that reading your blog has truly inspired me and has let me realize what "true faith" is...we'll be praying for your family. ( FYI...I went to school with and am friends with your brother, Parish. Also, go to church with your mom and dad.)

Prayers and blessings for y'all...
