House pictures

I've had several people ask about pictures of our new house. I tried to get Bailey in the picture, but she wasn't very cooperative! I'm not posting pictures of the inside yet. It's getting there, but not picture ready.

I also posted a few pictures of Bailey painting while Tookie had his afternoon nap.

Enjoy the pics...

Can you find Bailey? :)

Can you tell which way the wind blows? Look at our poor little tree...

Love the new house-wow! You are right, it's not the same being so far away from family/home. We are also 14 hours away from Arkansas and miss everyone terribly-especially having children. Our town is on a lake outside of Charlotte, NC-very nice-just not home, so I understand.
But, I guess if you have to be somewhere that far away, Florida is a good choice! Hope it feels like home real soon for all of you.

ok so duh I totally did not see C of C until just now when I read your blog. My family goes to Lake Forest C of C on the Northside of Jacksonville! That is where I grew up going. It is about 200 people but they are the best people I know! There are a lot of young families there right now and they are all very involved with each other and with the church! E-mail me for more info if you would like. My e-mail is: lesterine11@hotmail.com.

Hey Shannon! Gorgeous house...how do you like Stucco Homes (Fl thang)!? I still love brick, but they say it works best in hurricane season. My aunt and uncle lived in Jax in 1997 and have since moved, but they went to church at Mandarin COC, and I know that was Terry Beasley's home church. I did visit there, but can't remember a whole lot about it. I do know your feelings about finding the "right" church. We have struggled for years trying to find the perfect COC and have settled for now with a non-demon. community church. Good luck, and if you are ever in the Tampa area, let me know...the beaches are great here too, on the Gulf. And the drive is only about 3 hours away. sorry for a long comment. Have fun making your beauty of a house, your HOME!

Hate the house, hate Florida, really really want you back!

(Actually the house is beautiful, I am just feeling a bit bitter about it all at the moment)

This comment is actually for your "debbie downer" post earlier. I know how you feel about the churches. The one we were members of at our previous town had 30 on a good Sunday (don't get me wroung, we loved those people). I taught Ethan's Bible class the whole year and a half we were there. Our congregation now has about 300, but there are at least a few younger families and a reasonable number of kids (though there could be more). I know you'll find your place, though it may take a while. :-)
I'm jealous of your Target with the palm trees. Right now, I'd take ANY Target! Your house is lovely-can't wait to see pics of the inside. We moved here in January, and I just now bought some paint for Emily's room!
